PoE Mirage & Future Leagues: Ethical AI, Smart Trade, Chat, Guilds & Donations

Hi GGG and Path of Exile community,

I previously made an idea thread about adding an optional microphone party feature to the Social tab:

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3931457

That idea focused on safe, optional, ethical voice communication for parties, guilds, bosses, mapping, teaching, and console players.

Now that we are in Path of Exile: Mirage, and with trading systems continuing to evolve through official trade tools, Currency Exchange improvements, in-game trade/market features, merchant history, and league-specific trading, I wanted to make a bigger suggestion thread:

An **Ultimate Ethical Innovation Pack** for Path of Exile.

The goal is simple:

Make Path of Exile deeper, safer, more social, more accessible, more intelligent, more ethical, and more future-proof — without making it pay-to-win, without removing challenge, and without damaging the player-driven economy.

The best version of Path of Exile should keep the difficulty, complexity, crafting, economy, rare chase items, and player freedom that make the game special, while giving players better tools to learn, trade, communicate, organize, and protect themselves.

---

# 1. Ultimate Trading Pack: Item-for-Item Trading Marketplace

Path of Exile has one of the strongest player-driven economies in gaming. Currency trading, item trading, bulk exchange, official trade search, and Mirage market systems are already very important parts of the game.

One huge innovation would be an official **Item-for-Item Trading Marketplace**.

Instead of only listing an item for Divine Orbs, Chaos Orbs, or other currency, players could list items and request other item types in return.

Examples:

* Belt for belt
* Ring for ring
* Amulet for amulet
* Jewel for jewel
* Unique for unique
* Map for map
* Scarab for scarab
* Fragment for fragment
* Crafting base for crafting base
* Full build item swap
* “My item + currency” for “your item”
* “My belt” for “your belt with strength, life, and resistances”
* “My bow” for “your wand” if changing builds
* High-value item for another high-value item
* Mirror-tier item service collateral trades, with strong safety systems

This would make trading more flexible and more realistic because many players do not only want currency. Sometimes they want to change builds, upgrade a specific slot, swap item types, or trade value for value.

---

# 2. How the Item-for-Item Marketplace Could Work

A player could list an item and choose:

**I want:**

* Currency only
* Item only
* Currency or item
* Item plus currency
* Similar item type
* Specific base type
* Specific unique item
* Specific modifier group
* Specific stat range
* Open to offers

Example listing:

**Offering:** Heavy Belt with life, strength, fire resistance, and chaos resistance
**Looking for:** Stygian Vise, Synthesised Belt, or Heavy Belt with intelligence, energy shield, and resistances

Another example:

**Offering:** High-DPS bow
**Looking for:** Endgame wand, spell shield, or Divine Orb equivalent

Another example:

**Offering:** Mageblood
**Looking for:** Mirror-tier ring, mirror-tier bow, or currency equivalent

This would create a more advanced and flexible economy while still keeping player choice.

---

# 3. Smart Trade Offer System

Players could click **Make Offer** and propose:

* Currency
* One item
* Multiple items
* Item plus currency
* A counteroffer
* A saved offer template

The seller could then choose:

* Accept
* Decline
* Counteroffer
* Ask for more currency
* Ask for a different item
* Mark as not interested
* Block repeated lowball offers from the same account

This would make trading smoother without forcing full automation.

The player should always remain in control.

---

# 4. Fair Value Estimate, Not Forced Pricing

The system should not tell players the “exact” value of an item, because Path of Exile items are complex.

Instead, it could show a **soft value guidance system**:

* Similar listed items
* Similar sold items, if GGG chooses to track that privately
* Popular modifier combinations
* Warning if an offer appears extremely low compared to common listings
* Warning if an item has rare or high-tier modifiers
* Warning if an item has corruption, fracture, synthesis, split, mirrored, enchant, or other special status
* Warning if an item cannot be modified in the way the player expects

Important:

This should be educational, not controlling.

Players should still control their own prices.

---

# 5. Anti-Scam Trade Protection

The Ultimate Trading Pack should include stronger anti-scam tools:

* Highlight when an item is changed in the trade window
* Warn if links, sockets, corruption, rolls, or base type changed
* Warn if a Divine Orb stack was swapped for a different currency
* Warn if a similar-looking unique item is not the same item
* Warn if an item is mirrored, split, corrupted, or cannot be modified
* Add “high-value trade confirmation” for very expensive trades
* Add optional trusted trade notes for friends and guilds
* Add report category for fake listings and repeated bait pricing
* Add clearer item comparison before accepting a trade

The goal is not to remove risk from Path of Exile.

The goal is to reduce deception.

Players should win because of knowledge, skill, crafting, strategy, and market understanding — not because they tricked someone.

---

# 6. Trade Reputation Without Abuse

A careful reputation system could help, but it must be ethical.

Good version:

* Completed trades count
* Fast response badge
* Verified item delivery badge
* Bulk trader badge
* Crafting service badge
* Mirror service verification through system rules
* No public shame wall
* No harassment
* No revenge review system
* No downvote abuse
* No forced social scoring

Possible badges:

* Reliable Seller
* Fast Trader
* Bulk Trader
* Guild Trader
* Crafting Service Provider
* Verified Service Trader

But reputation should be limited and carefully designed so it does not become toxic.

The system should reward reliability without creating harassment or social pressure.

---

# 7. Build-Swap Marketplace

One amazing idea would be a **Build-Swap Marketplace**.

Players could list:

* “I am switching from bow build to spell build”
* “I am selling my minion build gear”
* “I want to trade melee gear for caster gear”
* “I want to exchange armour-stacking gear for energy-shield gear”
* “I want to trade bossing gear for mapping gear”
* “I want to trade magic-find gear for league-start gear”

The system could allow bundles:

* Full build gear package
* Weapon + shield package
* Jewelry package
* Flask package
* Gem package
* Map farming package
* Bossing package
* Leveling package

This would help players try more builds without needing to liquidate every item separately.

It would also make the economy feel more alive and player-friendly.

---

# 8. Ethical In-Game Path of Exile AI Assistant

The biggest innovation idea:

An official **Path of Exile AI Assistant** inside the game.

This should not be an AI that plays the game for you.

It should not automate farming, trading, crafting, combat, bossing, market flipping, or price manipulation.

Instead, it should be an ethical educational assistant that helps players understand the game.

Possible names:

* Navali AI
* The Atlas Oracle
* The Exile Assistant
* The Karui Codex
* The Eternal Archivist
* The Wraeclast Guide

The AI should be a teacher, not a bot.

---

# 9. What the PoE AI Assistant Could Do

The AI could help with:

* Explaining why a player died
* Explaining item modifiers
* Explaining crafting options
* Explaining passive tree choices
* Explaining support gem interactions
* Explaining league mechanics
* Explaining boss mechanics in general terms
* Explaining defenses
* Explaining ailments
* Explaining resistances
* Explaining trade searches
* Explaining how to price-check responsibly
* Explaining why an item is good or bad
* Explaining whether an item fits your build
* Explaining how to improve damage
* Explaining how to improve survivability
* Explaining what map mods are dangerous for your character

Example:

Player asks:

“Why do I keep dying in red maps?”

AI answers:

“Your elemental resistances are capped, but your chaos resistance is very low. You also have low spell suppression and no strong recovery layer. Consider improving chaos resistance, adding spell suppression, increasing life, and checking dangerous map modifiers.”

Another example:

Player asks:

“Is this belt good for my build?”

AI answers:

“This belt has high life and strength, which helps your character. However, it does not solve your missing cold resistance, and your current build may benefit more from a Stygian Vise with an Abyss jewel.”

---

# 10. Ethical Limits for PoE AI

The AI must have strict limits.

It should not:

* Play the game automatically
* Auto-dodge bosses
* Auto-farm maps
* Auto-run hideouts
* Auto-snipe trades
* Auto-flip markets
* Auto-craft items
* Auto-price manipulate
* Auto-message players
* Encourage harassment
* Encourage real-money trading
* Replace player skill
* Give unfair hidden information
* Create pay-to-win advantages

It should:

* Teach
* Explain
* Warn
* Suggest
* Compare
* Help new players learn
* Help experienced players save time
* Respect the economy
* Respect privacy
* Follow GGG rules
* Require player approval before any communication is sent

This makes it an ethical assistant, not a cheat tool.

---

# 11. AI-Powered Trade Helper

The AI could help players create better trade searches.

Example:

Player says:

“I need a belt for my Righteous Fire build.”

AI could suggest search filters:

* Maximum life
* Fire resistance
* Chaos resistance
* Life regeneration rate
* Strength
* Open suffix or prefix
* Correct base type
* Budget range

But it should not automatically buy the item.

The final decision should always be the player’s.

---

# 12. AI Crafting Coach

Crafting is one of the best and hardest parts of Path of Exile.

The AI could explain:

* Prefixes and suffixes
* Item level
* Base types
* Fractured modifiers
* Synthesised implicits
* Eldritch implicits
* Bench crafting
* Essences
* Fossils
* Influence
* Metamods
* When an item is risky to craft
* When an item is already good enough to sell
* When an item cannot be modified further

Example:

“This ring has a good fractured resistance suffix. You could use attribute essences if your build needs strength or intelligence, but be careful because the item is split, corrupted, mirrored, or otherwise restricted.”

This would help players avoid ruining valuable items.

---

# 13. AI Death Recap

After death, players could optionally ask:

“Why did I die?”

The game could show:

* Main damage type
* Hit or damage over time
* Critical strike or not
* Ailments active
* Map modifiers involved
* Monster modifiers involved
* Defensive layers that helped
* Defensive layers that failed
* Simple improvement suggestions

Example:

“You died mainly to chaos damage over time while shocked. Your chaos resistance is low, and the map had increased monster damage.”

This would make deaths educational instead of confusing.

---

# 14. AI Atlas and Farming Planner

The AI could help players choose farming strategies based on their build.

Examples:

* “My build is slow but tanky. What Atlas strategy fits?”
* “My build clears fast but has weak single target. What should I farm?”
* “I have 20 Divine Orbs. What upgrades should I prioritize?”
* “Which map mods should I avoid?”
* “What content is safer for my current defenses?”

The AI should give general strategy, not guaranteed profit promises.

Ethical rule:

No fake profit guarantees. No manipulation. No gambling-style pressure.

---

# 15. AI New Player Mentor Mode

New players could enable Mentor Mode.

It could explain:

* What skill gems do
* Why support gems matter
* Why resistances matter
* Why life matters
* What the passive tree does
* What flasks do
* What maps are
* What the Atlas is
* How trading works
* How to avoid scams
* How crafting works at a beginner level
* How to ask for help

This would reduce the number of players who quit before understanding the beauty of Path of Exile.

---

# 16. AI Veteran Mode

Experienced players could use a more advanced mode:

* Advanced trade search builder
* Crafting probability education
* Build weakness analysis
* Atlas strategy comparison
* Gear upgrade priority
* Gem setup comparison
* Defensive layer audit
* Boss preparation checklist
* Market warning education
* Item-for-item trade comparison

This would help veterans without simplifying the game.

---

# 17. Optional Party Voice Chat

This connects to my earlier thread:

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3931457

Suggested design:

* Optional only
* Default off
* Push-to-talk by default
* Mute, block, and report tools
* Friends-only option
* Guild-only option
* Party leader controls
* Volume controls per player
* Strong moderation tools
* Clear privacy settings

This would help parties, boss carries, guild mapping, console players, and new player teaching.

Ethical requirement:

No player should be forced into voice chat.

Voice chat should always be optional, controllable, and reportable.

---

# 18. Guild 2.0

Guilds could become much stronger.

Ideas:

* Guild event calendar
* Guild trade board
* Guild crafting board
* Guild bossing board
* Guild map farming board
* Guild hideout showcase
* Guild achievements
* Guild roles and permissions
* Guild stash audit log improvements
* Optional guild voice chat
* Guild mentor system
* Guild build-help board
* Guild item-for-item exchange board

This would help community retention.

Players stay longer when they have friends, goals, and a positive community.

---

# 19. Official Crafting Practice Simulator

Path of Exile crafting is deep, expensive, and sometimes scary.

GGG could add a practice simulator with fake materials and no real rewards.

Players could learn:

* Essences
* Fossils
* Bench crafts
* Metacrafts
* Eldritch currency
* Fractures
* Synthesis
* Influenced items
* Prefix and suffix rules
* Item level rules
* Crafting risk

This would not create items.

It would only teach.

That makes it ethical.

---

# 20. Advanced Beginner Guidance Without Removing Depth

Path of Exile should stay complex, but it can teach better.

Ideas:

* Optional build templates
* Better gem explanations
* Better resistance tutorials
* Better defense tutorials
* Map progression guide
* Flask guide
* Crafting guide
* Trade safety guide
* “Why is this item good?” explanations
* “What should I upgrade next?” guidance
* “What map mods are dangerous?” warnings

This helps new players without reducing endgame depth.

The game should teach players how to become better, not remove the need to become better.

---

# 21. Accessibility Expansion

Path of Exile should be playable by more people.

Ideas:

* Better colorblind modes
* Better visual clarity settings
* UI scaling
* Font readability options
* Reduced visual clutter mode
* Better audio cue customization
* Controller improvements
* Trade interface improvements for console
* More keybind options
* Better item filter management
* Better chat readability settings

Accessibility is not cheating.

Accessibility is fairness.

---

# 22. Hideout and Social Improvements

Hideouts are one of Path of Exile’s most creative systems.

Ideas:

* Hideout guestbook
* Hideout showcase
* Guild hideout tours
* Favorite hideouts list
* Better decoration search
* Public social hubs
* Trading halls
* Guild recruitment boards
* Party recruitment boards
* Build showcase areas
* Crafting service areas

This would make Path of Exile feel more alive and social.

---

# 23. Community Idea Voting System

GGG could create an official idea board.

Categories:

* Trade
* Crafting
* UI
* Social
* Guilds
* Accessibility
* Atlas
* Endgame
* New player experience
* Performance
* Chat
* AI assistant
* Console improvements

GGG could mark ideas as:

* Seen
* Interesting
* Under review
* Not planned
* Implemented
* Needs more discussion

This would organize community feedback better.

The system should reward constructive feedback, not harassment or spam.

---

# 24. Ultimate Ethical Chat System and Future Social UI

Path of Exile already has global chat, trade chat, guild chat, party chat, whispers, and system messages.

But the chat interface could become more powerful, safer, cleaner, more customizable, and more helpful while still respecting player freedom.

The goal should be to create the best ethical chat system in any ARPG:

A chat system that improves communication without censorship abuse, spam, harassment, scams, or unfair advantage.

---

# 24A. Ethical Smart Chat Filter

The game could have an optional **Smart Chat Filter** that helps reduce harmful, spammy, scammy, and disruptive messages.

Suggested filter categories:

* Hate and harassment filter
* Scam and fake trade warning filter
* Real-money trading spam filter
* Repeated message spam filter
* Suspicious link warning
* Excessive caps filter
* Bot-like behavior filter
* Spoiler filter for bosses, campaign, or league content
* Personal keyword mute list
* Language preference filter
* New-player protection mode

The filter should be adjustable.

Players could choose:

* Off
* Light
* Standard
* Strict
* Custom

Ethical requirement:

The chat filter should reduce harm without unfairly silencing normal players.

Players should be able to see why a message was filtered, adjust their settings, and appeal moderation actions when needed.

---

# 24B. Anti-Scam Chat Protection

Many scams start through whispers or trade chat.

The chat system could help players recognize suspicious messages.

Examples of warnings:

* “This message may be related to real-money trading.”
* “Be careful: this player is asking you to trade outside the official system.”
* “Warning: this message contains a suspicious link.”
* “This trade message may not match the listed item.”
* “This user changed the trade request multiple times.”

This should not automatically accuse players.

It should simply warn and educate.

Ethical requirement:

The system should protect players from scams while avoiding false public shaming.

Warnings should be private and informational.

---

# 24C. Advanced Chat Tabs and Organization

Players could fully customize chat tabs.

Examples:

* Global
* Trade
* Party
* Guild
* Whispers
* Friends
* System
* Loot
* Boss alerts
* Crafting
* Services
* Build help
* New player help
* Local chat
* Custom private groups

Players could create their own tabs such as:

* “Trading only”
* “Guild + party”
* “Boss carry messages”
* “Crafting services”
* “Friends only”
* “Hide global while mapping”

This would make chat cleaner and less overwhelming.

---

# 24D. Whisper Inbox and Message History

Whispers can be easy to miss while mapping, bossing, crafting, or trading.

Suggested features:

* Whisper inbox
* Missed whisper notification
* Trade whisper history
* Searchable message history
* Pin important whispers
* Mark as unread
* Quick reply
* Reply later button
* Auto “busy” response
* Auto “in map” response
* Auto “bossing right now” response
* Auto “sold already” response

This would make trading and social communication much smoother.

Ethical requirement:

Players should control how long their own message history is saved.

Privacy settings should be clear.

---

# 24E. Trade Chat Upgrade

Trade chat could become more useful and less spammy.

Suggested features:

* Item preview inside chat
* Clickable trade cards
* Price and item summary
* Filter trade chat by item type
* Filter by price range
* Filter by league
* Filter by online status
* Filter by service type
* Hide repeated trade spam
* Warn about suspicious trade messages
* Quick whisper button
* “Still available?” button
* “Offer item-for-item trade” button

This connects perfectly with the proposed **Ultimate Trading Pack** and **Item-for-Item Marketplace**.

---

# 24F. Build Help and Mentor Chat

A dedicated help system could make the community stronger.

Suggested channels:

* New Player Help
* Build Help
* Crafting Help
* Boss Help
* Trade Help
* Guild Recruitment
* Challenge Help
* Console Help
* Hardcore Help
* Solo Self-Found Help

Experienced players could voluntarily become mentors.

Possible mentor tools:

* Mentor badge
* Helpful answer rating
* Abuse-resistant reputation
* Cooldown to prevent spam
* Report system
* No payment required for help channels

Ethical requirement:

Mentor systems should reward helpfulness, not ego or exploitation.

New players should not be pressured into giving currency for basic advice.

---

# 24G. Chat Translation and Language Tools

Path of Exile has a global community.

Chat could support optional language tools.

Suggested features:

* Optional message translation
* Language tags
* Preferred language channels
* Guild language settings
* Trade message translation
* Common phrase shortcuts
* “Looking for party” translated templates
* “Need help with boss” translated templates

Ethical requirement:

Translation should be optional and clearly marked as machine-translated.

Players should not be punished unfairly for translation mistakes.

---

# 24H. AI-Assisted Chat, But Not AI Spam

The proposed ethical PoE AI Assistant could also help with chat, but with strict limits.

Allowed uses:

* Rewrite a trade message more clearly
* Translate a message
* Explain a confusing trade whisper
* Summarize missed whispers
* Suggest a polite reply
* Help new players ask better questions
* Warn about scam-like messages
* Help format guild announcements

Not allowed:

* Auto-spamming global chat
* Auto-negotiating trades without player approval
* Harassing players
* Mass messaging
* Price manipulation
* Fake testimonials
* Bot-like chat behavior
* AI pretending to be a human player without disclosure

Ethical requirement:

AI should assist communication, not replace honest human interaction.

Any AI-assisted communication should require player approval before sending.

---

# 24I. Healthy Moderation and Player Safety Tools

Players need strong tools to protect themselves.

Suggested features:

* Mute player
* Block player
* Report player
* Temporary hide chat
* Hide global chat while mapping
* Panic mute all non-party chat
* Friends-only whisper mode
* Guild-only whisper mode
* Do-not-disturb mode
* Safe mode for new players
* Hide offensive names
* Hide repeated messages
* Hide suspected RMT spam

Reports could include categories:

* Harassment
* Hate speech
* Scam attempt
* RMT spam
* Bot spam
* Suspicious link
* Impersonation
* Trade manipulation
* Threats
* Exploit promotion

Ethical requirement:

Moderation should be fair, consistent, appealable, and transparent enough that players understand the rules.

---

# 24J. Chat Privacy and Consent

The best future chat system should respect privacy.

Suggested settings:

* Who can whisper me?
* Who can invite me?
* Who can send trade offers?
* Who can send voice chat requests?
* Who can see my online status?
* Who can see my party status?
* Who can see my guild status?
* Who can see my “busy” status?

Options:

* Everyone
* Friends
* Guild
* Party
* Trade only
* No one
* Custom list

Ethical requirement:

Players should control their communication boundaries.

---

# 24K. Chat UI Quality-of-Life

The chat interface itself could become much better.

Suggested features:

* Resize chat box
* Move chat box
* Transparent background slider
* Font size options
* Colorblind-friendly chat colors
* Separate tabs into panels
* Pop-out whisper window
* Timestamp toggle
* Search chat history
* Copy item message
* Pin useful messages
* Favorite channels
* Quiet mode
* Combat mode
* Mapping mode
* Trading mode
* Guild mode
* New player mode

This would let players customize the chat interface for how they actually play.

---

# 24L. Ethical Community Announcements

Guild leaders and party leaders could have better announcement tools.

Suggested features:

* Guild announcement board
* Party announcement pin
* Event reminder
* Boss run notice
* Crafting service notice
* Map rotation notice
* Build help session notice
* League goal notice

Ethical requirement:

Announcements should have cooldowns and permission controls so they are useful, not spammy.

---

# 24M. Final Vision for PoE Chat

The future Path of Exile chat system should be:

* Safer
* Cleaner
* Faster
* More customizable
* More accessible
* Better for trading
* Better for guilds
* Better for new players
* Better for global communities
* Better against scams
* Better against spam
* Better for privacy
* Better for party coordination
* Better for ethical AI assistance

The goal is not to censor the community or remove player freedom.

The goal is to give players better tools to communicate, trade, learn, organize, and protect themselves.

A future ethical chat system could make Path of Exile feel more alive, more modern, more social, and more welcoming while still keeping the deep, hardcore identity that makes PoE special.

---

# 25. Ethical Design Principles

Every feature should follow these rules:

* No pay-to-win
* No real-money trading support
* No forced voice chat
* No forced AI use
* No automation that plays the game
* No market manipulation tools
* No harassment systems
* No shame-based design
* No gambling-style pressure
* No unfair advantage from paid features
* Strong privacy controls
* Strong moderation tools
* Player choice first
* Clear consent
* Fair appeals
* Respect for new players
* Respect for experienced players
* Respect for the economy
* Respect for Path of Exile’s identity

The goal should always be ethical innovation.

---

# 26. Final Vision

The best version of Path of Exile is not a game that removes difficulty.

The best version of Path of Exile keeps:

* Deep crafting
* Hard bosses
* Complex builds
* Powerful economy
* Rare chase items
* Player freedom
* League innovation
* Community creativity
* Long-term progression
* Meaningful item value

But adds:

* Safer trading
* Smarter item-for-item exchange
* Better guild systems
* Better social tools
* Better accessibility
* Better learning systems
* Ethical in-game AI
* Better anti-scam tools
* Better new player guidance
* Better respect for player time
* Better chat systems
* Better trade UI
* Better communication tools
* Better privacy controls
* Better community organization

Path of Exile can become not only the best ARPG today, but the most intelligent, ethical, future-proof ARPG forever.

Thank you GGG for creating this incredible game, and thank you to the community for helping improve it.

I hope this thread helps inspire ideas that keep Path of Exile deep, fair, challenging, social, ethical, and amazing for many years to come.

# Bonus Idea: Faustus > Manage Shop > Donations and Freebies

Another ethical and community-friendly feature could be added to Faustus:

**Faustus > Manage Shop > Donations**

This would be an optional system where players can list items, currency, leveling gear, maps, gems, flasks, crafting bases, or other useful goods as donations or freebies for other players.

The purpose would be to help the community, especially new players, returning players, guildmates, league starters, and players who need basic gear to continue progressing.

---

# How Faustus Donations Could Work

Inside Faustus, players could open:

**Faustus > Manage Shop > Donations**

From there, a player could choose:

* Donate item
* Donate currency
* Donate map
* Donate gem
* Donate flask
* Donate crafting base
* Donate leveling gear
* Donate full beginner gear set
* Donate to guild only
* Donate to friends only
* Donate to new players only
* Donate publicly
* Donate anonymously

Players could list items for free or mark them as “pay what you want.”

Examples:

* Free leveling uniques
* Free resistance rings
* Free beginner flasks
* Free skill gems
* Free maps
* Free low-tier currency
* Free crafting bases
* Free six-socket items
* Free starter weapons
* Free build-transition gear

This would make generosity easier without forcing anyone to participate.

---

# Donation Claim Options

To prevent abuse, players could choose claim rules:

* One item per account per time period
* One donation bundle per account
* Guild-only claim
* Friends-only claim
* New-player priority
* Level-range restriction
* Manual approval
* Automatic claim
* Random claim queue
* First come, first served
* Anonymous donor mode

This keeps the system helpful while reducing spam, bots, and abuse.

---

# Donation Bundles

Players could create donation bundles such as:

* “Act 1-5 Leveling Kit”
* “Early Mapping Starter Kit”
* “Resistance Fix Kit”
* “Beginner Flask Kit”
* “Minion Starter Gear”
* “Melee Starter Gear”
* “Caster Starter Gear”
* “Bow Starter Gear”
* “New Player Welcome Pack”
* “Guild League Start Pack”

Each bundle could include multiple items and a short note from the donor.

Example note:

“Hope this helps you start mapping. Good luck, Exile!”

---

# Ethical Safeguards

This system should be designed carefully.

It should not become a way to scam, manipulate, advertise RMT, or pressure players.

Suggested safeguards:

* No real-money trading messages
* No external payment links
* No forced donations
* No required tips
* No gambling-style giveaways
* No fake charity claims
* No harassment through donation notes
* Report option for abusive listings
* Cooldowns to prevent spam
* Limits to prevent bot abuse
* Optional anonymity for donors
* Clear warning that donations are voluntary and final

The system should encourage kindness without creating pressure.

---

# Why This Would Help Path of Exile

A donation feature would help:

* New players learn the game
* Returning players restart more easily
* Guilds support members
* Friends help each other
* Generous players share extra items
* League starters avoid early frustration
* Useful items avoid being wasted
* The community feel more alive and welcoming

Many players already give away items manually. This would simply make generosity easier, cleaner, and safer through an official system.

---

# Optional “Community Chest” Mode

Faustus could also have a **Community Chest** option.

Players could donate items into a shared pool, and other players could browse available freebies based on their settings.

Possible filters:

* Leveling
* Early maps
* Gems
* Flasks
* Resistance gear
* Weapons
* Armour
* Jewelry
* Crafting bases
* Guild donations
* Friends-only donations
* Public donations

This would make it easier for players to find useful free items without spamming global chat.

---

# Ethical Requirement

This feature should always be:

* Optional
* Free to use
* Non-pay-to-win
* Non-exploitative
* Protected against bots
* Protected against RMT
* Protected against scams
* Respectful of player privacy
* Built around kindness and community

The goal is not to create dependency or unfair advantage.

The goal is to let players voluntarily share extra items and help each other in a safe, official, ethical way.

---

# Final Thought

Path of Exile has one of the most passionate communities in gaming.

A **Faustus > Manage Shop > Donations** tab would give generous players a better way to help others, support guilds, welcome new players, and make Wraeclast feel more connected.

This would turn extra items that might be ignored or vendored into meaningful help for another Exile.
