Petrified Amber self activating

I went into boss room, killed boss and when I got out, I noticed the two petrified ambers were "active"

As in; mobs attacking it, no HP bar, but making the sound when they normally get hit. As I came close, it killed mobs and allocated ore. So I quickly Printscreened and did /bug.
