Shaper influence voidstone problem

I like to play Path of Exile because if I don't like something, I have ways to overcome it—be it by choosing map mods, upgrading my gear, or my atlas tree. I do have choices; I do play the way I like, and it has been this way until the 3.28 patch.
In 3.28, the atlas has been changed; more precisely, now voidstones have some special effects. Some of them are fine—generally, a voidstone means more monsters. The Decayed Voidstone does that; if the map rolls Elder influence, we will have those black portals, and if it rolls Shaper, those balls. In my point of view, those balls break my ability to choose how I farm. They spawn monsters in some kind of stream, so either I stay in place waiting for the stream to end, or I leave it behind and FOMO gets me later. There are several effects like that: burning ground, chilled ground, strongbox mods, delirium, etc. But for all of those, I have a choice of doing it or not. This Shaper voidstone and some other voidstone effects aren't a choice; they are imposed like no other effect. My suggestion: make the voidstone influence specific (like Shaper balls or Elder portals) effect only spread through the voidstone quadrant. This way, I think we are keeping the "choice" aspect and the "imposed" voidstone aspect: you can choose the quadrant, but will have to deal with the effect if you don't like it.
