Why does Ashrend increase tooltip damage for frost blades?

Playing frost blades I put on an Ashrend and my tooltip damage went up over 30%. My weapon is Daresso's Passion.
Ashrend specifically says its damage increase applies only to ranged weapons. Last bumped on May 4, 2026, 7:45:29 AM

Figured it out - I have Precise Technique allocated and putting on Ashrend lowered my life below accuracy.
