The Maven Fight

Just here to remind GGG that this fight is still the most ridiculous fight i have ever seen in an ARPG. The memory game....WTF. Just that. Go on with your lives.

this league mavens writ was like 10 c lmfao.
first attempt with a friend failed. i couldnt see shit and i ate his portals.

we both did it solo ourselves since the writ was cheap.

surprisingly i cleared her on first try albeit had to eat a few portals.

first time i took her down with not too much difficulty. my build is stronger now. pretty proud of myself.

anyway i digress. i want to chime in and say the memory game is a disjointed game mechanic that doesnt align with what players expect from an arpg battle.

i played tq2, there was a memory game mechanic which was literally a puzzle. if you got it wrong, a bunch of monsters spawned in to ambush you. that made sense. i had time to do the puzzle. i had time to memorize. and the punishment for failure is i have to fight monsters with the possibility of dying rather than just dying to mavens memory game.

i will always chime in an shit on mavens memory game. its bullshit. as an actual puzzle mechanic its fine but in high pressure events where the failure results in death? fuck maven. i never run maven ever. get the orb/stone and do other things.
