auditing hackers by looking at their stash

often i see sellers with 3k+ black baryas, allflame of guilded, suddenly crashing the price and forcing me to cancel (and lose lots of gold). these are guaranteed hackers. who the hell has 3k black baryas sitting in their stash? and allflame bottles too.

i think the devs need to build an algo to scan the behaviour of players with over 1000 of certain items, like black barya, allflame bottles, omen of blanching. there's no way any legit players have 1000+ of these items, nobody hoards this stuff, and to find this many by playing legit without botting 24/7 is extremely unlikely. these hackers are guaranteed to be malicious cartel botters destroying this game.

im sure there are other items where a person having over 1000 is almost guaranteed a malicious botter hacker. wat the devs can do is look at the distribution of items players hold, if 99.9% of players only hold a few of an item, but then someone has a couple of thousands, its almost guaranteed a malicious botter, and their keyboard/mouse inputs need to be scanned to prove they are botters.

The items you used as examples cannot be listed through Faustus shops, they have to be listed in regular/premium stashes, which means something like Acquisition or Procurement can be used to list them on trade, hundreds or even thousands of them with a single click.

How certain are you that this is not the case?

I'll assume you don't know what either of those softwares are, before Shops and even before Premium stash tabs, when we had to list items on the forum, we used those programs to list items on the forums, which still work to this day and are still very useful for people that can't or don't want to purchase Premium stash tabs. They are even better for searching items through stashes, when you don't know where you left a certain item.

Edit: also, funny, PoE is a game where people hoard stuff... just cuz someone has hundreds of an item doesn't mean it's automatically hAcKiNg.
Pff, who even plays Standard?

i have no idea wat ur talking about

i check faustus very often and i can almost always tell when a seller is a botter. this company doesnt seem to care about botters. they e

if somebody is playing 12+ hours a day with no breaks, like literally not even a 10 second break, its 99.99% a malicious botter, and this is easy to check. they wont do 24/7 because thats too obvious. faustus is overrun by malicious botters.

botters are way more damaging to this game than RMT'ers. they play 0 hours and get infinite money. RMT'ers at least have to play the game a bit.
