my "increased critical support" gem shows no change to critical strike change

Hello. Please advise. I was using an "increased critical strike support" gem for my cold snap of power. About a week back, i managed to get my cold snap of power to 100% critical strike chance. Today, it went down to around 72. i am using the same weapon as before. I also observed that removing the support gem no longer shows any effect, on my cold snap. Thank You.
