Isn't the level requirement of 84 for The Dark Monarch a little much?

As a build defining unique it shouldn't be something you can only use endgame.

Is there anything else that has such a steep level requirement?

Its not OP, and its not that rare.

Considering many much more powerful uniques are usable in the 40's it doesn't make sense.

Well the base item gives it the 84 requirement. Not so much the unique itself.

And level 84 is honestly not really endgame, it's super easy to get nowadays.

its a drop from an end game atlas boss... even if it wasn't the base causing the level requirement its still an appropriate level requirement for an end game item... you are highly unlikely to be below that level before you can find one.

trade should not ignore item sources when considering level requirements.
