Various Input Bugs
|
All on 1st gen PS5, PS5 version, running regular maps, wifi:
1331663231 -- interact button (X) unresponsive for ~2sec 4037898416 -- interact button (X) unresponsive for ~1sec 60964818 -- skill button (X) unresponsive 4061931038 -- interact button (X) unresponsive on exarch icon 1445712551 -- interact button (X) unresponsive trying to pick up orb 601739850 -- cursor locked on Nico, unresponsive to right thumbstick or inputs 4285631605 -- cursor locked on Cassia, unresponsive to right thumbstick 1790093309 -- interact button (X) unresponsive on crimson iron icon (3 tries until worked) Thanks for your hard work! I am suspicious about my controller being the culprit, but I've ran benchmarks on gamepad tester and all other games work fine. I've also noticed the input issues are worse when buttons are chorded, like face buttons with triggers, for instance. Sometimes you need to hold buttons for 4 seconds or more to get them to register (market search, market search clear). I will update if issues are resolved upon getting a new controller in the coming months. Last bumped on Apr 29, 2026, 6:36:27 PM

One thing that could be responsible for *some* of these is that "targeting" of interact is a bit longer range than the actual ability to interact. Sometimes you just need to get closer.
Also, some interactions can be blocked by "obstacles" (even if that obstacle is a little pebble on the ground -- if your character can't walk over it, it can block some interactions). One final thing -- PS5 wireless controllers (the Sony ones that come with the system, as well as official Sony ones sold separately) operate at frequencies where it is possible for a microwave oven (or other strong RF source) to cause interference. FWIW I have never had any of the input issues you describe, except as noted above. And I use "chorded" skill buttons all the time (e.g. L2 + Triangle, L2+R2+whatever for league skills, etc). It is however worth mentioning I don't use the in-game market stuff (I use the website)--so that part could be broken and I would never know. |
