Passive Point Allocations

I was just watching a streamer playing on PC and seen that they were able to change a dual weapon slot allocation point to a single weapon slot allocation (e.g. weapon slot 1, assuming all requirements of being able to allocate are met) while levelling without needing to go back to town and refund the passive points.

I immediately thought this would be way more convenient and time saving to levelling runs, so I checked on console if I could do the same. However, I cannot figure out how to do this at all without going back to town and talking to the NPC to refund passives.

If this is possible to do on console can someone please let me know how to do it.

However, if it isn't, then can this please be a considered addition because it gives PC players yet another pretty big advantage time saving advantage over console players.
