folders in another language; loot filter fails to load; idk

Hey,

I reinstalled my poe onto a new harddrive yesterday. i began having loot filter problems, and noticed that there are folders (that lead to My Games/Path of Exile/OnlineFilters. Even if I delete these folders, they return.

When I focus on trying to load a loot filter, it never works. I get an error saying it failed to open filter file. It will list one of the random folders with a Korean looking name.

Even if I had my 3.28 loot filter manually to each of these Korean folders, it will still cause errors.

When I log into PoE website, I see my 3.28 loot filter. When I log into FilterBlade website, it shows my 3.28 loot filter. When I ask Filterblade, to download/sync, it does. And when i go to options ingame, then 3.28 shows as an option for my filters. Then I encounter the same error, where the game can't seem to load the filter.

Obviously, I'm confused whether it is normal to have random characters that look Korean creating folders. Similarly, I'm confused on why reinstalling on a different hard drive would really change anything.

There's two separate bugs with highly similar symptoms.

We would need the full file path to say for sure which problem you're dealing with, and how to fix it.

When I went to my loot filter options, and tried to load 3.28, it immediately created several new folders in Korean or whatever.

So, I noticed another error that seems related to all this. My password gets saved incorrectly on the login, regardless of what i do. so, it looks like it is pulling data from somewhere else. It appears it pulls data from here:

As a precaution, i went ahead and formatted the old harddrive--which is still connected.

OneDrive has been removed as far as I can tell, but when i deleted those Korean folders, and tried to load it, I got a new error:

here is that full directory:

i fixed it, by reinstalling Windows, with no backup files, and regeditting out OneDrive's entries. and reinstalling the game.
