What's up with the race mod spam?

I'm ok with the race mods, I find them refreshing, but they should be an exception from the rule, not the rule. I'm looking at the calendar and all I'm seeing is mods mods mods mods almost 3 weeks of mods. You guys gotta get your act together and do a bit more thinking and planning before you throw out events like that.

There has to be a little bit of everything spread out evenly so that people can play what they like, not be forced into playing mods they don't like or that they got sick and tired of, just to earn points.

"If you don't like it don't play it!" Well, yeah but I want a specific item reward, more exactly the bow for 200, and I'm forced in participating in all CT, BLAM and other stuff over and over, just so I can get my 3 points and make quota getting the bow before season end. Why? Because the devs decided it would be interesting to spam mods for 2-3 weeks in a row...
