Downloading same update over and over

Each time I launch the game(standalone), it keeps downloading the same 121.44kb patch. The game runs, but the next time I launch the client it'll redownload that same update. Doesn't matter if I finish launching the game, or close and re-open, it will download the same patch again.

Win 11, standalone. Tried with admin rights, didn't fix. Nothing wrong with the folders, been running fine for many many years, first time I've had this issue.

If you perform a Clean Boot and update the game again, the next time you open the game does it still want to perform the same download?

same thing for me. i downloaded that same patch 10+ times now

I have rebooted many times and yes, it still persists. This has been happening for a few days now, I just didn't think anything of it at first because there was an actual patch, and I thought there was a hotfix, but then I noticed it kept happening, and that it was the exact same size each time.

This has started happening for me too. Weird.

Have you specifically tried a Clean Boot?

Ok so for the background, I'm playing PoE1 exclusively by Nvidia GFN, usually performance option, for the last few years. Performance is often good but beside it dropping in mirage league (breach was almost perfect smooth), the biggest error appeared with patch 3.28.0e. Usually I open PoE on GFN with source set to GGG and in this case, 3.28.0e never finish to install. Each time I start the game this way, it starts with "upgrading" to the latest patch, and the game itself takes a lot of time to even load to log in screen. Every next logging begins with updating to 3.28.0e again. When I change to steam, there is no 3.28.0e to install as it is once and for all installed and the log in screen comes faster. Any idea what is happening on GGG source for GFN?

also have been having the same issue since 3.28.0e

fortunately I was mostly playing Yakuza 0... but I was still popping on randomly to update trade prices and give mappers new maps.

I did the Clean Boot and it still downloaded the update. The only thing I really havent tried is redownloading the game since I just dont have time to do that until this weekend.
