Imbued gems going core?

Is it too early to ask if the imbued gems are going core, or are they getting legacy for next patch?
I might quit the league soon, and id like to know if they are going core/legacy to save them to standard.

dont think so. it will make so,that imbue would be the only way aka meta. 21 gems would not be considered at all. exceptions would be when gem lvl scale gem power hard,like minions(specters) or ele hit.
i'd like it to go core,but with implications idk if ggg would go for it.
