Extreme Memory, CPU, Power Usage in new season

While playing POE in the current Mirage League, I have been experiencing not only lag, but extremely high memory, CPU and System Power usage, particularly in chapter starting/ hub areas. This has never been a problem in previous leagues, even at very high settings.

As for my system stats, they are
CPU Ryzen 7 3700 3.6 GHz
Memory DDR 4 3200 64GB
GPU NVIDIA Geforce GTX 2600 Super (EVGA) 8GB DDR5
OS: Windows 10 64x with 0Patch
Direct X version 12
All drivers up to date.
