Crash to desktop after changing to Vulkan

I get crashes that send me directly to the desktop after changing from DX12 to Vulkan.

I was not satisfied with DX12 performance and wanted to change to Vulkan. At first I had less stutters and smoother gameplay but now I crash almost instantly in any zone as soon as monsters appear and I hit them.

I have a i5 12600k paired with a fairly new AMD RX 9070 XT which has served me well in PoE2 and other games.

I tried deleting the shader folders but this changed nothing. Also tried veryfying integrity of game files on steam.

Any suggestions? Perhaps from people with similar hardware?

Yeah, same here 9070XT - DX 12 is ok, but Vulcan is crashing
You're not alone, my situation is exactly the same (except AMD cpu). Changing to Vulcan for performance, on a 9070XT, crashes to desktop without error message. Was playing fine for a few days before. Didn't update any drivers in the meantime.
