Remove all mob Damage Immunity Sources

Imagine the Case:
You playing somewhat 1-mirror Kinetic Blast build. You entering map and seeing divine shrine. You holding KB button but mobs around shrine are not dying. You see that FPS is dying. You forced to lure mobs away from it. You may see that your ping raised. Servers calculating damage from all explosions from KB - damage which gets nullified. Now replace that with any Damage Immunity source: Divine Shrine - 100% uptime Proximity Shield - 100% uptime (as rare mod) Proximity Shield - 45% uptime (as mob ability - MonsterProximityShield) Invulnerability Aura - 60% uptime(as rare mod) "Other Allies Cannot Die" - 100% uptime(as totem) This league also introduced "Area contains Labyrinth Hazards" as t16.5 mod, which adds many number of "Proximity shield Totems" with 100% uptime. That totems also reviving after some time. Main problem - this things cannot be fully "disabled", as they just revive, and continue to sponge explosions which deal no damage. FOV from Player 1, launching the map - permanent FPS drops on that map. FOV from Player 2, "server neighbor" - latency spikes even in hideout. Currently best solution - just avoid that mod on maps, yet that not solves a real problem. +1 still to many mods around. Back to basic 8 mod corrupted. All mods related to nightmare and 16,5 should be removed. They are toxic and they add nothing but a) problems for the game or b) feelbad for the player
People that like those things can do valdo maps. Even though, i would prefer those to get removed aswell(which they won't because part of supporter pack d'oh) But rewarding uber boss items was a very bad idea. They should be uber boss exclusive. RN these maps devalue bossing to some degree. |
