EU Server

Hello GGG,

why are there still issues with lag on the EU servers? Is anyone actually addressing this? Or do you guys not give a damn about EU players? How many more leagues do EU players have to put up with this? And thanks for punishing me for your incompetence with that shitty 10% XP penalty on death!

P.S.: If you feel the same way, let’s make this thread go viral. Thanks :)

The biggest disappointment is the silence over the topic. There where two twitter posts, one mentioning DDoS attacks and one mentioning a config problem on GGGs end that was supposed to be corrected promptly.
But when it comes to EU servers they are worse than ever. Constant spikes on working hours over all different servers. Whenever there are performance problems on launches affecting ALL players, there are dedicate twitter threads giving updates multiple times per day. But if it's week long problems for EU we get an excuse for DDoS attacks and the vague plans of GGG to talk to their providers.

If any company or employee in the EU would not deliver products of promised quality over months and months, that contract would (and should) be terminated. From the little information about this and the last leagues problems all we see is GGG pointing a finger to their providers. If the providers aren't suited for handling the POE servers GGG should at minimum scout for alternatives. If the providers are not at fault, then please give us some reason before your posts become a deformation of your suppliers.

All I'm asking for is some form of plan:
- Are there talks with other providers?
- Are there forensic investigations regarding the DDoS attacks?
- Is there any plan to make changes to the server infrastructure (like more capacity or fallback options)?
- Is there a timeline for any actions by GGG?
