What a strange memory capacity. How is this memory formed? 2x(16+4)?
Close Enogh. 2*16GB + 8GB
I got 32GB(4*8GB) kit as gift from a frinde so I placed one of them and couldn't place anymore cause of the CPU Heatsink.

I would very strongly advise against mixing RAM kits.

You will worsen system performance if they have different timings. It is unlikely the jump from 32 GB to 40 GB will improve performance for anything you do on the computer in a vacuum - even if you hypothetically weren't mixing kits when doing so. It's not worth it at all.

I was using the 32GB only and they both kingstone 3200MHz and when I got the other kit it was G.Skill 3000Mhz they site with me a while almost a year then I told myself to test one of them and since I installed it I never remove it and don't see any performance lose.

The motherboard run them all on 3000Mhz and I think they all have ths same timing so it's not a big deal for me as long as the system not crashing.

Or maybe I'm used to the slow performance.
