This shit is way too strong or just limit the souls rare monster can consume. This --> SHIT <--- is insane in Rituals

+1 I agree, Souleater is way way way too strong for no reason, I've killed alot of them and none of them dropped anything usefull but just garbage items ( non-usable other them drop/sell npc )
Either keep it like this but give to him some good drops, otherwise its just pure avoid this garbage. |

The problem with SE is the scaling damage reduction that comes from the SE modifier when applied to monsters. Notably, it doesn't apply to players with SE, because it would be OP. It makes it necessary to either have orders of magnitude more damage than you need for any other monster to overcome the SE's DR, or you have to run away and let the SE stacks fall off, which just isn't possible in a lot of scenarios and completely at odds with the encounter mechanics in others (e.g. rituals, delve, ultimatums). Even when specifically focusing your damage as much as possible on the SE monster, typically everything else on screen is long dead before the SE monster dies.

I don't mind soul eater occasionally turning up, but when it is in every single map and then in every single mirage it gets very annoying. Especially with other certain mods as well. And of course most of the ones today had 3 or 4 mods. Sheesh, can we at least get some variety in the rare mods please.
