"Faustus overpay pop-up resetting when leaving his UI" issue and other possible improvements
|
People still love putting landmines in their Faustus shop, preying for people who do not run multiple checks on the items they are buying in bulk and on their prices as well.
While buying beasts for example, you will often have to leave the Faustus shop UI, to stash them so that you can buy more. But this resets the overpay pop-up, meaning that the next time you open the shop you are able to buy a yellow beast priced in let's say divines/mirrors instead of chaos just fine. Suggestions: 1) The mechanics behind where the currency is pulled from your stash are unintuitive. Allow players to use the ~skip command to also exclude what can be used to pay in the Faustus shop (this might make the following suggestions redundant, but not useless). 2) I'd also suggest introducing these options, selectable in the Faustus shop itself: Always show overpay pop-up and Single trade only Always show overpay pop-up will show the pop-up every time a price of an item is higher than your last trade request. It should only reset once you request another trade from a different player's Faustus shop (by Travel to hideout) or when you select the option to Leave hideout. In this way you should not be able to get back to the same shop, but without the pop-up showing. Unselecting this option will stop the pop-up from showing completely. This option should be on by default. It should have no effect when browsing someone's shop with no prior trade request from trade. Single trade only will allow you to buy only the item you selected (by clicking Travel to hideout) when searching the trade. If you try to buy a different item with this setting selected, it will show a pop-up asking you if you really want to buy this different item. When browsing someone's shop by teleporting to their HO without using the Travel to hideout on the trade, this option will have no effect. 3) Allow players to set "compound" price on items in the Faustus shop. Meaning that players will be able to price their item in divines + chaos or mirrors + divines. This will allow items to be priced at for example 2.5 divines/mirrors and so on and remove the need for the buyer to first convert their currency to another one.
