Verisium vein interaction

Since ores plays bigger role in recent patch some should notice Verisium vein in particular has really awkward mechanic. It completely locks you in place and sometimes it feels bugged and your character starts to perform weird animation istead of channeling vein's bar.
What if you change it for timer, for example. Whanever you click vein it will start like ~5 second countdown and create something like "Abort" button on top of it. If you want you can click that button whenever you need to make encounter easier, or you can wait full timer without being locked for it's duration and do things wou want in a meanwhile, clear packs, ID your loot and so.
