Increase the Amount of Hiveblood
|
I wanted to farm the Breach mechanic in this league. Got all the Atlas tree nodes. Using scarabs to get more of this mechanic.
And I'm always SLIGHTLY short on hiveblood to use my wombgifts. I expected each breach in T16 to drop enough hiveblood for 1 wombgift. But most of the time it's a little short of that amount. Like, the wombgift takes 1600 blood but the breach drops 1500. Please increase the amount of hiveblood by 10% or so. Last bumped on Mar 13, 2026, 4:57:44 AM

Nah, it wont be increased. Its already the most generous it can be, because if it would be higher why then have hiveblood counter at all, just let wombgifts be free at that point. By giving you at least marginally lower amount hiveblood than needed you have to do some decision making towards what direct this hiveblood.
well, i guess, they could add possibility to liquidated wombgifts to hiveblood for the peace of mind. Last edited by Andrius319#4787 on Mar 11, 2026, 3:07:27 AM

" Yes, selling wombgifts to Ailith for hiveblood would be great. |
|
" you have no idea what you are talking about, hiveblood drops are too low they are not affected by quant or monsters you kill and if you run 5 fortresses you will be left with like 25-35 wombgifts of all types that you cant do anything about |
|
" I see. I just read OP and took at face value that hiveblood quantities are just marginally lower. So, do you have a suggestion then? |
|
" You just made the opposite point: by your example, the problem is that wombgift drops are way too frequent....NOT that hiveblood is too scarce. If the hiveblood-to-wombgift ratio is fixed, and the maximum hiveblood per "maximum encounter" is also relatively stable.....then the problem is the wombgift drop rate. Consider life force from harvest: the most rewarding crafts almost certainly require more than one map's worth of lifeforce, and even luck plays a role with the 3 different colors you can encounter. Andrius is right: what would the point be of getting any hiveblood if you basically always achieved more than the amount required to unlock a wombgift? If that were the case, every breach event should end with you simply "unlocking" a wombgift and skipping the middleman resource collection altogether. if anything, wombgift drop rate is too high.
We lost grafts that could provide up to +50% graftblood gained and there seems to be no compensation for this, except the possibility of having many breaches in your maps. The result is massive surplus of wombgifts on the market. You can sell excessive gifts yourself but since everyone is gated by hiveblood anyway and they themselves also have surplus - well, the price crashes into the shitter. And players that don't farm breach have no business buying wombgifts anyway cos they won't have any blood. |
