Online Filters not synching to game

For many leagues I've followed loot filters of content creators but something this league bricked all my synched (denoted with Light Blue text in the loot filter dropdown) and now I can only see/use local file loot filters.

I've tried verifying game files in Steam. I've unfollowed every loot filter and only picked a couple to re-follow (turn it off and on again strategy). I don't know what else to do.

Same problem. Quite a few of us are having this issue.

I renamed the path of exile folder under 'documents/my games/path of exile' to poe.old (same concept as backing it up and deleting it). This caused the game to create a brand new Path of Exile folder under 'documents/my games'. I lost all settings, however, this did resolve my issue. Then I copied over filters from my backup folder I still wanted and verified the synced loot filters still worked in game as well.
