for the love of god bring back the ability to use non-atlas map items freely
|
I am currently stuck with both quest writhing invitation and quest polaric invitation that i cant use because they are located in some fuckass corner of the atlas i havent explored. Even when they pop out of fog of war, you cant use them still because you have to run the maps leading up to it (I assume).
Remove this shit now, let us use non map items like we used to. Thanks. While the idea of not having map types is fine, this UI is not it. Also bonus note: clicking on the map device should always open the player inventory screen and it doesnt anymore, pls fix. Last bumped on Mar 10, 2026, 12:55:48 PM

Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” |

Ah, so the invitations aren't useable if you haven't pathed to there location on the atlas!? So... I guess same goes for unique maps and shit!?

" Yes, you'll need to complete the adjacent map in order to run unique maps on your map device. |

i think for unique maps and guardians, normal boss keys etc the system is fine, im down with having to path to the correct spot on the atlas. for quest ones where you are interacting with a quest line and have been given a green quest key that you either keep in your inventory or throw on the floor of an active zone and lose, nah, i havent experienced that myself yet but if u need to path miles away to then do that quest thats not good.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Agreed with OP. I was soo mad when I got those unusable invitations. Thankfully I wasn't too far away, but those and unique maps should just be allowed to run whenever. Like put a central node in for us to use qith any non basic map. Or at least move their spots closer to the center so we get to them quickly
