Exile's Pilfering Ring should not count currency during Heist unless you escaped

Right now If you pick up chaos orb in heist ring add +1 to counter but if you die - you drop that chaos. If you die before alarm reaised you can go back and pickup it, if alarm raised - you can't go back. So simple method for logic should be instead of decreasing counter on drop - just don;t count currecny until "contraband" flag is removed
