Why split up information between Reddit and Forum?

Some of those, reddit or official forum, ought to be the main source of PoE annoucements and in it should be all the annoucements, spoilers, and information in genneral of the game.

For me, it makes sence that the official fourum should be the one. But I dont care which one since it is clear which one is the one and it is complete.


I not sure if I need to prove my point, but for example GGG posted in reddit information abou Reliquarian Ascendency ad gave some other spoilers that were not given here. Mean while patch notes and annoucements are writen here in the forum... Why to split this? Just to make it harder to keep up to late?
