What is this new atlas map UI?

I hope I’m not the only one in the room that thinks it’s horrible and clunky. The amount of new clicks, mouse movements to every side of the screen, scrolling, tiny tiles to click etc. I’ve seen less pop ups and easier navigation on phishing websites.

Not to mention has the end game maps don’t work.

Simplicity was lost in this patch
