Can't open the game on MAC

I tried to install the game on mac for the first time on steam - I was able to open the game and login and play around 2-3 days ago
Now when I try to open it on steam, I can open the game but every time I try to login/play from inside, I get an error that there's a new patch (tried to verify files multiple times)

I deleted the game and downloaded it from the main launcher, the game now is not opening at all (crashing on load)

getting the exact same thing. also deleted the whole game and redownloaded
