getting 100°C CPU temp when playing

Hi everyone,
Posting here to see if i can get some help with this problem.
Over the past few weeks i've been getting some pretty high temperatures when playing poe, reaching 100°C.

This is the only game that this happens and seems a bit weird to me. I can even play RE9 on 4k/max graphics and only get like 60°C CPU at max but here in poe the thing spikes to the moon in terms of temperature.

This is a summary of my specs:



I'm aware the i9-14900 can get really hot and that's why i have liquid cooling and tbh in 3 years using this PC AND playing poe1 with this same PC in the past I never had temperatures so high, even playing a lot of different games.

I did some stress tests using this program called HWiNFO to see if the liquid cooling is doing its job and everything seems fine.

My GPU drivers and BIOS are up to date.

I've been messing around with framecap ingame and changing from vulkan to dX11 or dx12 but nothing seems to addres this.

So here I am hoping if anyone is familiar with this kind of problems and hopefully get a solution.
