In the patchnotes, it says that awakened gems will be "phased out". Does this mean that :
- only awakened gems that get a new exceptional version will be removed, or - all awakened gems are removed, some get an exceptional replacement? Some builds would be disproportionally nerfed if there is no exceptional replacement, or if the exceptional version isn't compatible. Last bumped on Mar 4, 2026, 1:58:33 PM

I think it is the latter, but they mentioned something in the recent podcast about 3 remaining, which I didn't really understand. Maybe I misunderstood, but it sounded like a few were remaining as named awakened for some reason.

The only 3 remaining awakened gems will be Enhance, Empower and Enlighten (i.e. the awakened versions of the OG exceptional gems). All others will be gone except in Standard.
