Has It Been Mentioned If Astrolabe 'blobs' Can Overlap?

I don't think it's been mentioned, but by the way they described I would say no. Firstly, the blob will be limited to the one atlas quadrant, so they won't cross over into other regions of the atlas that way.
And it seemed like they were describing a system where you would only have one blob per quadrant... If you bisect a single blob, for instance, one of them disappears leaving a single blob again. But I've not seen anything explicitly addressing this. - here's my sig
