How to pop off in PoE 1 ? Few questions.

I adore PoE 2 and I also like PoE 1 but never played properly. I don't mind PoE 1 is what I'm saying, I love quality Arpgs a lot and I understand PoE 1 is a more complete game. However it is also filled with insane amount of contents which makes everything confusing for a new player.

I know the basics thanks to PoE 2 and some league mechanics and how they work etc. But what I want to know is;

What content is safe to skip? I don't like heist can I skip? I don't understand anything from it.

What are the best ways to obtain 6 link armor? How should I proceed if I don't get lucky when I'm done with campaign to get my 6 link, how do you guys get it?

Bench crafting, there is bench crafting in hideout that you add stats and stuff to your item. In campaign we find some of the recipes, is there any important one during campaign? And what about the rest of the recipes, how do we learn them after campaign?

Beast system that starts in act 3 I guess? with Harandir is the guy's name I guess. Is it really important to hunt beasts or should I just skip this content, what does it even unlock I have no idea.

After campaign, what's our goal when mapping? Do we start from map tier 1 to map tier 15 like PoE 2 or is there any other things I must do, such as adding tablets (scarabs) into my low tier maps? Is there any benefit?

For now I must learn the answers for these questions, I really want to play this league like I'm playing PoE 2, I'm so hungry to arpgs at the moment.

Thanks for your time!

You can skip anything outside the end bosses of the acts. You should however do the asic quests from the town to gain passive skill points (use the command /passives to see which you are missing)

Depends. If you're a slow player, trade is the right answer. Mostly by the time you actually need a 6link they will be dirt cheap. Otherwise there are maaany options, mostly from league mechanics through. 6linknig something with fusing is also an option, but that's pure luck.

recipes are found in maps, always situated before the endboss room. You can also always teleport back to the campaign if you missed one. The bench will tell you where to find the recipe. Just look at the undiscovered section. there are some hidden recipes (as i hidden in the campaign zone, not hidden from the bench description)

In act2 you will meet einhar. and skip it or not, there is no mandatory league play in the campaign

Start with filling out your atlas. You have a skilltree with 115 points. Each different map completed gives one point, unique maps give one point an certain atlas objectives (there are 3 story lines with the atlas) will give points. The more points you have, the better you can customize your gameplay.

important: there is no real wrong specc in the ATLAS tree, so don't FOMO around and try to find what you like, or follow a guide if you want to min max early. (preferably after you found out what kind of extra content you like)

scarabs should be used later on, after you build enough points for an actual strategy. depending on prices you can still use them if they are worth dirt. Or just stack them them to flip later. (as in selling them to a vendor to gain less new scarabs but different types)

hopefully that helps a little. And i'm quite sure there is a lot of beginner type content on video platforms of your choice.

there is also poewiki.net the official wiki.

6th march New League bro, time to get preparing

1) yes heist ez skip, most content is skippable
2) random drop \ fusings \ or buying if you're SC. SC market - everything is cheap af
3) yes get recipes during campaign
4)Beast content is like Heist - you can skip it. But it's a decent way to get some things out of it but personally i havent touched them for a few years
5) in SC, i assume that most goal is to get to t15-t17 maps, don't juice white\yellow maps

Hopefully this will help somehow lol
Good luck Exile
Yeah, I'd suggest doing Einhar, including in maps. As beasts collect in your Menagerie, you can get some really cool and useful things, and you can essentially print Uniques after a while. Delve is also completely optional, but some people specialize in it; you might try building a character specifically for it just to see how you like it. =^[.]^=
=^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/
whiskers =@[.]@= boggled / =>[.]<= annoyed or angry / ='[.]'= concerned / =0[.]o= confuzzled /

A good filter in your head works wonders. You focus on one mechanic and skip the rest, that is actually a good idea, not something you can just do but something you should do. Heist is one of the more appealing mechanics for newer players, because you need some game knowledge to actually beat the income you get from Heist outside of Heist. But if you want to skip it that's ok. Of course nobody can tell you what the next league mechanic is and how good it is.

A 6 link can savely be linked for 1500 orbs of fusings if you use a finished body armour like a unique one. Just spamming fusings and hoping for the best can be very frustrating.

Otherwise the tree from the new breach is good if you focus on body armour or kingsmarch is decent if you send crimson ore. If you run expedition you will also sooner or later get a loot explosion with some 6 links, but expedition can be tough for newer players, you quickly end up with monster that are to hard to kill if you are not that advanced yet and it is not that worthwhile to do expedtiuon at the moment. Of course you need to craft those armours as they are just bases that drop. Here you want to use Dense fossils in most cases.

I would look for something that looks interesting to you, for me it was Heist 5 years ago when i came back to the game and then expedtion but some palyers like Delve, maybe that is for you. Just focus on 1-2 things if you play trade league and don't try to min max to much, it ruins all the fun(unless you want to grind t17 then you have to, lol)
