Clarify your mute system/TOS

I'm starting to become confused with the mute system, few years ago i got manually muted for 24 hours or so for "spam" in trade chat after posting 2 WTS messages on trade chat which were posted in 30 seconds delay from eachother.
Meanwhile theres a guy on trade chat spamming the whole trade chat window about 7 times showing all the tattos he has without even saying if he wants to sell them and he never gets muted.
On another occasion i got muted for breaking TOS despite what i wrote was true, meanwhile theres a guy like this who spams the same begging message every few mintues for over an hour and brags about making 80divs, its just pure useless spam, he doesnt get muted despite countless reports.

There's also some "no politics" TOS, despite that some people get muted and some dont, its like you pick and choose your TOS every month and people have to constantly adapt to what your mood is.
My nicknames was C_H_R_I_S_W_I_L_S_O_N which was removed when he wasnt a full dev anymore but just a person showing up once in a while and still i cant have it because it breaks TOS, meanwhile theres a guy named jonathan rogers who ISNT the dev and he doesnt break TOS?
Im getting the flack that other people dont, work on your TOS please.

Actually going to +1 this due to the fact that there is a severe lack of transparency in regards to how mutes are given. Worst because of how being muted severs the players' connection from trade, which just makes it feel even worse when wanting to discuss legitimate aspects (for instance) without fear of being muted for a good 200 or so days.

That's exactly it. I constantly see some people spamming their messages every minute for hours, but there's no response.
Very strange selectivity.
