Powercreep of Rares; Keepers going Core feels like sad News; Delve should be Carefully Rebalanced

Crafting methods such as Essences and Fossils have been devalued over time with
- gold gambling
- Kingsmarch shipping
- breach tree

The game is more enjoyable, if there is a bit of a struggle to get the early and mid tier mapping going and if all crafting methods matter and have their place. Atm it is too easy to rush through the early mapping.


I would welcome, if Kingsmarch rares and breach tree rares were removed and gold gambling caps at item level 59 (for the campaign it is a good addition).

I also would welcome, if you drastically decrease the chance of dropping a rare item from a natural monster kill, but if a rare item drops naturally, it is well rolled (imagine being excited again, if a top tier base rare drops on day 2).

In Keepers League I have removed all rares and all fractures from my loot filter, because it was not worth the time and identification scroll. This is kind of sad in a game, in which some time ago items which dropped mattered; like the game had been kind of loot based.


To Keepers changes going core:

I do honestly not know, what the breach tree solves... it is not needed, the breach currency and foulborn uniques could be moved to the breachlord loot table or somewhere else breach related... Who needs the tree? For what?

Why do the breachlords had to go? What was wrong with them?

The new breach ring bases are great - the recipie for grasping mails should be reworked to adjust for the drastically reduced drop rate and mitigate wrist damage (have you ever sold half of a quad tab of breach rings? I did. It is not great...). For example, one could move them into the loot table of breach lords.

Bring back old breach with updated visuals for monsters of the new breach. Problems solved.

And please: Remove those walls. Who came up with them in the first place, they are terrible. And almost everybody could have predicted that they will be terrible before implementing them...

I do not want to have breach fortresses naturally put on my maps with their walls. I do not want to be forced to play this blight like defense game which has its hardcoded speed and interupts mapping. And is not worth it. It is boring.


Btw, Delve is in a sad state: It is a cool, fun mechanic (the Delve concept is utterly one of PoE genius ideas, but its execution does not hold up as of today), but it is a waste of time from a reward point of view. Too much rubbish is burried under 250 depth... to little valuables... Too less frequency of Delve related rewards behind fractured walls and imperfect balancing of upgrade costs... I think, with the right person spending time on it, Delve could be sooooooooo much better with little or moderate effort!


Please reconsider some of the stuff for 3.29 as for 3.28 it is likely too late...
