Requesting Chinese Localization for PoE 3.28 — Let’s Drop the Bias
|
After more than a decade, Path of Exile is more than a game — it’s a shared journey. Chinese players have been part of it from the start, supporting PoE with our time, passion, and money.
Many of us chose to stay on GGG’s official servers instead of the Tencent version, and yes — one major reason is the environment. The Tencent realm is flooded with RMT-driven play. Most ordinary players can’t change that, can’t fix it, and can’t fight it. In the end, the only realistic option is to avoid it and play where the experience still feels fair and meaningful. That’s why I believe no criticism or bias should outweigh a player’s right to enjoy what many of us consider the greatest ARPG ever made. And there’s simply no solid reason to oppose something as basic as localization. Chinese language support takes nothing away from anyone — it only helps more players understand the game, learn it faster, and enjoy it fully. Localization is also easier than ever. With modern AI tools, translating and maintaining large volumes of text is far less costly than it used to be. If budget is the concern, GGG could even run an optional community fundraiser specifically for localization — a transparent token budget to cover translation and ongoing updates. Many of us would gladly contribute. We’ve walked this road for more than ten years. We’re not asking for special treatment — just a practical step that lets more people experience PoE at its best. Please support Chinese localization for PoE 3.28. Let’s drop the bias, and let more players truly enjoy Path of Exile. Last bumped on Feb 15, 2026, 10:23:28 AM
