Price in shop not registering correct.

So apparently, whenever you price something over 1000, the shop adds a . as a separator.
When you change the price, without deleting the whole number it doesn't register the . as a separator and just deletes everything after the . that should be a separator.

Why is it coded this way? Why do we even have a separator after its priced in the shop when you want to change the price when that is not how it is written in the text box? What the fuck is that about??????

999 divines thrown away this way, I know I could've double checked but I didn't fucking expect that it was a separate way of writing it in the input and when it's written as a price in the shop.
