Wheel of Tree containing Steelwood Stance Only benefits Warstaves
|
I noticed when I equipped a regular staff with these passives I lost all attack block benefit. (i think it added it to my spell block instead) But if I equipped a warstaff the benefit returned to attack block.

Ignoring the Heist bases:
Regular staves can come with an implicit for spell block or global crit. Warstaves come with an implicit for attack block. Depending on what warstaff you're comparing with, you're changing your attack block by 20-25%. And wheel you're referring to adds up to 20% attack block. |

When I equip a regular staff the bonus from those points changes from "Attack Block" to "Spell Block". Since that is not what is stated on the passive points it looks like a bug to me.

I reread your post and I get it now. For some reason I thought they both provided attack block. For some reason I didn't get it even after what you wrote. So it was all about the differences in the implicit on the two different kinds of staves.
Sorry for my not being able to see the forest for the trees. :) |

" Haha, all good. I started to write a reply and couldn't figure out a nice way to show your math without the post coming across negatively. We got there in the end, no bug :P Last edited by blackdeath101#5742 on Jan 12, 2026, 5:17:08 PM
