Heist and how to make it more FUN, please someone make GGG read this
|
Ive played my first Heist runner this league and im having a good time overall, however running into those regular wooden doors (not the locked ones) is just not fun and it doesnt feel as rewarding to put together a fast character.
Its such an unnecessary click that interrupts the run and after clicking probably thousands of doors i had to make this post. My suggestion would be a stat on rogue gear "regular doors have x% chance to be opened already" or something like that. Would make rogue gear matter more too. Definetly playing a heister again next league and im kinda hoping heist gets some quality of life improvements or at leats some kind of love from GGG. Maybe u guys have some suggestions too. Hope this gets read even tho most people dont play heist that much. Stay sane exiles Last edited by ShazaarFidard#6444 on Jan 5, 2026, 5:09:57 AM Last bumped on Jan 5, 2026, 10:50:16 AM

Better idea:
If you walk into a door, it opens after a set amount of time. The time lowers based on movement speed (so that a slow and bulky character wouldn't accidentally open a door by standing near for too long, whereas a speedy character would be able to move through several without stopping as much). Such a mechanic is commonplace, even in regular RPGs now, because noone wants to keep clicking a door 50 times in a dungeon. But I doubt GGG will do anything about it. They are still dead-set on forcing players to click a thousand times each map if they are doing stuff like harbingers. |

My QOL suggestion for heist is let us do it from hideout, all we need is Adiyah, the guy who you sell the treasures to and the planning table. Just 2 NPCs and 1 decoration. I would do heist so much more if I could just run my blueprints and contracts in hideout.
