Unable to Reach Login Screen – Black Screen on Launch (Steam Client)

Dear Grinding Gear Games Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue launching Path of Exile via the Steam client.

When I double-click the Path of Exile icon in Steam, the game launches but only displays a black screen. I am unable to reach the login screen. It simply stays on a black screen indefinitely.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

- Restarted my computer

- Restarted my internet connection (WiFi)

- Verified the integrity of the game files via Steam

Unfortunately, the issue persists after all of the above.

I am playing Path of Exile through Steam, not the standalone client. Could you please advise on further steps to resolve this issue? If any logs or system information are required, I would be happy to provide them.
