I was banned and I don't know why

So, I hadn't played Path of Exile 2 since last December. I wanted to spend the last few days of the year gaming and enjoy the new expansion. When I opened the game, it said, "You've been banned."

No reason, nothing. I hadn't even played, I was just banned.

I emailed support asking why, and then my account got blocked (it was linked to Steam). Now I can't even log into the website. I had to rely on this account to try and figure out what happened.

Can anyone help me with this?
