Trial of The Sekhemas

My friend and I are trying to go through the Trial of The Sekhemas, the one with 4 Trials. My friend is the party leader and if they die, to be able to do anything in the game again, she has to completely close Steam and logout and then back in again. This has happened a couple of times now. I get that the Trial should be over and that we have to restart the Trial, but she can't resurrect at the beginning or even back in town. Screen is pretty much frozen. She can see the chat but can't type anything. She can't load her options menu to just try and back out to the character selection screen, just has to completely logout out of Steam and then back in to be able to anything. Seems a little odd to me, just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue or know what's happening.

My first thought is that her log file might be informative.

Unless there would be e.g. an accessibility issue or language barrier, ideally she would be the one posting. Otherwise it could take ages for us to get anywhere.

e.g.

• We ask for a log file.
• You see that and pass it on.
• She asks how to find it.
• You tell us she doesn't know where it is.
• We ask which client & Operating System she uses.
• You see that and ask her those things.
• She gives you that information.
• We give you the directory the file is in for that combination.
• You pass that on.
• She sends you the file.
• You post the file here.
• etc.

The middleman effect just adds latency in a way that makes the whole thing torturous.
