I checked the forums and no one's fix seems to work for me. I've tried the following to get rid of the Deadlock Detected error:

1) Deleted the Documents folder in the Path of Exile 2
2) Took off the overlay in the Discord settings
3) Reduced my graphics to all sorts of lows (looked like a sparkly polygon bullet hell at one point)
4) Switched to Vulkan from NVIDIA (game can't run and has frame drops that make the game unplayable)
5) Deleted poe2_production_Config.ini and rebooted
6) Verified game files within Steam
7) Ensured that my NVIDIA graphics driver is completely up-to-date
8) Continuing to wait after the error occurs for the game to go back to the main screen, as some players say that the Deadlock error only happens the first time if you do this (problem is that my game never returns to the main screen no matter how long you wait and completely boots you out of the game)

Some details:

1) I'm playing the game on Steam
2) I'm playing with another player at all times
3) The other player is a Disciple of Varashta (which people are saying in forums is one of the main contributing factors to the error, but I can't ask my partner that is a level 78 DoV to just... switch ascendancies or something...)

I would really love to continue to play the game if possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
