Support Gem Suggestion: Totem Commander Support (Day #1245)

Here we go again.
Hey there, today I wanted so suggest my new Support Gem Idea for Totems. It is basically an opposite of "Multi-Totems". Totem Commander Supports limits the Skill you use to 1 Active Totem. There are Ups and Downs. + Totem gains increased Damage + Totem gets increased Area + Totem gets increased Duration - Totem loses big Attack/Cast Speed - Totem gets a cooldown ..... that means you could have ONE Giant Totem that deals TONS of Burst Damage with a single hit ... but its clunky and slow. Imagine just spawning ONE Single TR Ballista that destroys an entire Boss/Map with a single hit. One Giant Pizza Stick ? Last bumped on Dec 28, 2025, 7:30:01 PM

would be nice to have more supports that convert DPM into raw alpha say:
premeditation support: modifiers to attack speed instead apply more attack damage at a % of its value modifiers to cast speed instead apply more spell damage at a % of its value devastation support: 10% increased skill cost (mana or life) every 0.1 radius the skill has. spells gain 2% of their base damage as added flat damage for every 0.1 radius the skill has. attacks gain 2% of weapon base damage as added flat damage for every 0.1 radius the skill has. to put some number to it a lv 20 Shockwave Totem deals 412-765 base physical damage and has 24 radius without increased aoe this support will increase skill cost by 240% and add 197-367 physical damage. if the radius is increased to say 35 then it will increase skill cost by 350% and add 288-535 physical damage. note: this support can be used with archmage but the mana cost will skyrocket without providing much of a damage gain, its mostly an alternative for all those builds that want a hard hitting attack or spell. |
