A personal appeal: Missing the Sandwraith upgrade due to a medical emergency
|
Hi GGG team,
I’m writing this because I’ve hit a dead end with email support and I’m hoping a manager or someone on the team might be able to look at the human side of my situation. I’m a long-time supporter from Brazil. I currently own the Vaal Serpent-God pack, and my goal was always to upgrade it to the final tier: the Sandwraith Assassin. It’s my favorite set you’ve ever made. Unfortunately, right when the window was closing, I was hospitalized for 15 days, followed by two months of treatment for stomach ulcers and H. pylori. During that crisis, I was away from the game and my health was my only priority. I honestly didn't know back then that GGG offered payment plans or the option to "reserve" a pack to pay later. I only found out about those options two months ago. If I had known, I would have found a way to secure it even while I was sick. I’ve reached out to support several times, but they told me their hands are tied because the pack is expired. A supervisor told me they won't review my case anymore, which is why I'm posting here. I know that in 2019, an exception was made for the Empyrean pack for a unique case, and I’m hoping for that same kindness. What I’m asking: I am ready to pay the full price for the upgrade immediately. I don’t need the physical items (hoodie/shirt); just the digital skins are fine. I can provide medical records privately to any staff member to verify my story. I’m not looking to break the rules; I just had a serious health crisis during the only time I could have bought this. I love this game and I just want to finish the collection I started. Thank you for your time Last bumped on Dec 26, 2025, 11:00:21 AM

That's unlucky dude. I don't think posting your appeal here will do anything, perhaps you can kindly ask support to escalate your request to someone higher up?
In any case best of luck and get well soon. I, for one, don't like pressing too many buttons. That doesn't make me unskilled, lazy, complacent or whatever other descriptor you are trying to pluck from your vocabulary. - Unknown philosopher, ca. 2025

Thanks man.
I actually already tried that route. I got escalated to a supervisor, but they gave me a hard 'no' and said they won't review the case anymore. That’s why I’m posting here—it’s basically my last 'Hail Mary' hope. Appreciate the well wishes though! |
