Millions of value of crops disappeared, random pumpin shows up

I was very close to sending a shipment of 25 million crops (wheat/corn/blue zanthimum) and 25 million dust. I had 25 million crops and was just waiting for my dust to top off. When I logged on last night, my wheat and corn had mostly disappeared and then I had 48 pumpkin. I have never had a field of pumpkin, so I have no idea where those came from and where did my wheat and corn go to? I'm disenheartened because it takes so much gold to keep my Kingsmarch running and now I feel like I'm starting the crops again. Has anybody had this happen, where could they have gone to?
