Suddenly... ?? Mana costs skyrocket

I am unsure what changed.
I'm running a life stacking Inquisitor, was doing splendidly. Using blood magic. Then I put 'golems blood' on a mirrored amulet and suddenly whenever I hit a mob ALL of my life pool vanishes instantly - but ONLY when I hit a mob, not when I just stand and cast the spell(s). I did not have that problem previously, only after annointing the amulet. But now, even when I remove it, the condition remains. NOTHING else changed from previous to the annoint - everything ran smoothly. Now, I hit a level 1 mob and ALL of my health pool vanishes, ES is not affected. Kinda game breaking. After testing: I am using Rathpith Globe which has the line: "Sacrifice 10% of your life when you use or trigger a spell skill" - yet, up until I put on that annoint it would not WIPE my health pool instantly. It had ZERO appreciable affect, I could regen back that 10% effectively instantly. As stated above, while holding the shield I could cast without the catastrophic loss of life pool. But, now, whenever I *HIT* something: instantly sucked dry, not even recoup activates. " Living Lightning is a trigger skill and stores up to 5 uses, in addition to the casting of Firestorm for a total of 60% life sacrificed if all 5 triggers happen in one cast. My guess is you changed more than the amulet annoint, but hard to prove that with the information you provided. Change support gem and see how different it is. |

" Well... Bugger me sideways. You spotted it instantly. I thought it was not even triggering since I never saw any of the minions. Removing it solved the entire bug. My cast speed with the firestorm must be sufficiently low I can recover what was spent - but when that trigger goes off in a single server tic (after hitting a mob) it was far too much in a single go.
