Some ground degen still impossible to see, cold overtuned

Ground degens are first, way overtuned still. Second, they are still impossible to see in many cases.

Fire ground degen is in a good spot.

Cold/chill ground degen literally looks like the player's ground chill effects but it also goes under other player skills that cover the same area so you can't actually see that the ground degen is there! This is horrible.

Chaos degen is sometimes okay but it too also hides under player effects.

You need to tone down cold ground damage, it's way too too strong in the current patch. Test this and you'll see that especially the cold degen that sometimes appears when opening chests with rare mobs (not the nova) is insanely strong (10k life in under one second) with no resistance debuffs and 10% dot reduction.

Also please make it so ground degens are ALL actually visible. Having them not visible is just simply unfair to the player.. adding a 150-200ms before the degens actually start ticking might be good for players on a high latency connection but I wouldn't expect you to actually add that.

Thanks.

POE1 (and POE2)prides itself on zero visual clarity in every environment and situation, right from the first zombie fights in the twilight strand.

This game cannot be salvaged from the immense amount of "stuff" happening on screen. The model, effect, environment, etc. design is fundamentally broken.

As for monster damage/effect output, both POE1 and POE2 are hilariously overtuned relative to literally every ARPG out there, including D2 from which it is inspired. Your average endgame character will be deleted in most situations before you can blink and say "WAT", including from the degens you mentioned. 10 endurance charges, armor, block cap, suppression cap, 5k life? You're still dead to everything buddy. That is the common complaint of newish players trying out POE1 and POE2, something along the lines of "so my character must have A, B, C, D, E... but I'm going to be wiped out anyways without explanation?"

I think the solution is for POE to change its TOS and allow for more freedom in the 3rd party overlay/extension space.

This aligns with their design philosophy in other areas of the game (loot filters).

If you arent willing to modify the game appearance for the community, let the community do it for themselves.
