GGG Support is amongst the best I've ever seen
|
The other night, I stupidly deleted a character by accident while trying to close out the game (don't ask, I couldn't tell you). And, in a moment of desperation, I sent out an email asking if they could recover it.
Within the span of around 10 minutes they were able to recover the character to it's former glory. No waiting for a response, no bullshit, nothing but straight business. Between GGG support and Steam support, I really don't know who's better Last bumped on Dec 2, 2025, 3:15:08 PM

Also had various great experiences with support like that! E.g. making a shop purchase I regretted 5 minutes after. 5 stars!
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" I don't find that comparison challenging... Valve's support allows you to contact them regarding technical issues (for their games), and they've some pretty surprisingly transparent and pro-consumer public-facing statistics. https://store.steampowered.com/stats/support/ Grinding Gear Games' support team do not accept requests for technical assistance, and any such emails received will result in you being pointed towards the Technical Support forum section - which they themselves do not post in. Also, they've a pretty opaque email-based system. I'm glad they were prepared to do the bare minimum and tick a box for you, and I know from experience they have some truly lovely people working there. But let's not get hasty with the praise. It would not be difficult for them to ideate on improvements - if they wished to. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.
