After many hours of path of exile.

Let me say, for what it is, path of exile is a great game.
what i dont like; i feel like everyone is being pushed to play path of exile as the main arpg evil its original source has gone off the tracks, from the roots ( diablo ). and in doing so, they are putting in some passive aggressive, biased, non sense, that's very subtle. This game continues to add layers, every six months and you continually have to refresh your mind on some of the mechanics and tactics. does it take up cache in your, lol possibly - take notes on the important stuff. this reminds me of the medical field, with things like, continuing education, weekly or monthly meetings about adjustments and new protocol. coding - icd 9 - to 10 emr / new procedures / new equipment / new training / constantly keeping up / new treatment. this game has showed me a few things that can actually be applied to life ironically. one - you can spend five thousand hours trying to figure something out and never figure it out quite right. vs just reading something and getting you answer in just a few minutes saving many many hours. ![]() second- weird thing is - the worker rarely makes as much money as the crafter. Third - Evolution - i've watched this game grow from act 3 dom end game - farming alts from rare drops strats to what it is now. patients and how things evolve. it takes money to make money. to anyone thats need to save many hours of your life. there is a core basics to this cap cap your res 7k life 10 es depends on what your playing chaos is very important to cap - or youll say why am i dying all the time choosing pantheons carefully - brine for cant be froze is huge making your flask pop when full is keep and super important if youre dying alot add things like increased duration 50 % chance to not be stunned - cant be shocked - reduced effects of curses. these things are key. then armor and evasion, you need way more than you think more like 40k + weird set ups like rf are extremely strong due to damage taken as fire but youre pretty much immune to fire . then the diverse of large clusters can pretty much make any build work. get your extra ascendancy from forbidden flesh. or the confusing numbers of tribute jewels, just matters who it goes to. min maxing in this game is pretty intense and just when you think you cant get any more you find a 2% crit chance to spells on a 1000 es armour. or a 6 link spark gloves lvl 20 faster casting lvl 20 faster projectiles with crit chance and crit damage on the gloves. i played this game blind for a very long time and enjoyed a lot of my time other than crafting before i learned fracture essence slamming but now with the tree in keepers the market is broken. to the 50 million shipments through march but to save you a lot of time just watch these two videos if you dont understand how people are getting mageblood in a day or a week. it'll at least fast track you. number 1- is the add as many unique monsters to your maps as possible t-17 with 300 rarity on character 60+ pack size on map with 90+ rarity requires a very strong build https://youtu.be/-oZ7AR7H2-A?si=bN5l2JG9tk9b7kdb number 2 - this scarab approach can get you there as many rares as possible - again t-17s https://youtu.be/OJxduS8GAr4?si=8TXVr3W3etSDwhyp others - there is a lot of farming strats A LOT Blights are solid - but do your atlas tree to spawn uniques < --- super good boxes - pilfering with containment this combo can make a unbeatable boss but also give you 800 divination cards. < --- super good memories are pretty solid - with any tree set up really normally some for kalguuran, for me though. seekhemas trials - solid <-- stressful but super good - gets easier with the right set up on relics and build. deli farming altars and blood filled vessels 5 ways also good for exp ( and timeless jewels ) (domains of timeless conflict ) einhar mission farming with scouting reports for red beast farming shaper drops and frags simulacrums < -- super good guardians frags log books and expeditions there is always farming bosses for frags and ubers with a atlas set up forsomething ( dont forget your invites every 25 maps ) or a solid lifeforce strat cornucopia - doubling - influencing scarab of hordes - lineage - sacrifice at dawn ( atiziri piece ) 1x Horned Scarab of Awakening 1x Harvest Scarab of Doubling 1x Cartography Scarab of Corruption 2x Scarab of Monstrous Lineage here is a atlas tree https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAAUAIQAh9RfPniAYw9LMuu7TPUklwBIsvpsmbTpiy6GtCySXaAIesHuhCr-xW2IwCqn4up4PFkhYDD6S9-cnCjnky3yOIxBssW1ZqtNXp3OWsn9TLp9Wo3qqLwqu9lbzLe92uPzYLLk9x8At12L4X2R3v6qCm7IaIkqXtSPh53QxpfigqcpjcFYjjmHVVmGglE3489H8ICzx7fPGQqbxuIOThui0OAMX0rLFyFMx10XUDakxB_m6K7vE31-QA75Yhb2dRmUp1UYi_212ivBrwtxOnbl7P1tI89xC4_lAzCIB0H-M8a3DyPCwnaJo9lctWOgcWYfPwi0nsQYuWLkM5qvka_pJM776We51NAoFAAfiwgAAAAAAAADAwAAAAAAAAAAAA== ![]() thats a link to a atlas tree to follow i remember farming labs back in the day for certain enchants and i bet some people are doing that now for certain gems. rituals are always fun and a little less overwhelming but remember ( what ever approach you take - adjust your atlas tree to accommodate to what youre farming - if non the less just add pack size and scarab % ) heist red beast farming alva incursions for double vaals oh ya farming sublime jewels is big wins selling them unident 50 divines i think atm people love to over complicate things - just remember that if you read a little bit, itll save you a lot of time :) and its really not that complicated once you know the caps and requirements - that you always have to have with every character - there is different ways to get there though - as a example if you use a mage and res flask you dont need res on your gear ( to free up for other things ) ![]() Last edited by Enigma0087#0090 on Dec 7, 2025, 11:41:25 AM Last bumped on Nov 30, 2025, 6:29:53 AM
